This film with Angelina Jolie as Executive Producer is the story of a young girl who has to pretend to be a boy when her father is wrongfully arrested by the Taliban. It is a heartwarming tale of a young girl doing what it takes to survive in a heavily male-dominated world. The film is based on the book written by Deborah Ellis who found her inspiration for this story by talking to Afghani refugees living in a Pakistani Refugee camp.
