You would be forgiven for not immediately assuming this is a feminist film, but the escape of the Imperator Furiosa with a harem of flawless beauties and the story of their escape certainly rings of female empowerment. This is a gripping adventure film with some awesome female roles. Charlize Theron is excellent.
